Brightness Ābhāsutta

“Mendicants, there are these four kinds of brightness. “Catasso imā, bhikkhave, ābhā. What four? Katamā catasso? The brightness of the moon, sun, fire, and wisdom. Candābhā, sūriyābhā, aggābhā, paññābhā—These are the four kinds of brightness. imā kho, bhikkhave, catasso ābhā. The best of these four kinds of brightness is the brightness of wisdom.” Etadaggaṁ, bhikkhave, imāsaṁ catunnaṁ ābhānaṁ yadidaṁ paññābhā”ti.
