Abhayā, the body is fragile, “Abhaye bhiduro kāyo, yet ordinary people are attached to it. yattha satā puthujjanā; I’ll lay down the body, Nikkhipissāmimaṁ dehaṁ, aware and mindful. sampajānā satīmatī.

Though subject to so many painful things, Bahūhi dukkhadhammehi, I have, through my love of diligence, appamādaratāya me; reached the ending of craving, Taṇhakkhayo anuppatto, and fulfilled the Buddha’s instructions. kataṁ buddhassa sāsanan”ti.
