Transience Anavatthitasutta

ā€œMendicants, seeing six benefits is quite enough to establish the perception of impermanence in all conditions without qualification. ā€œCha, bhikkhave, ānisaṁse sampassamānena alameva bhikkhunā sabbasaį¹…khāresu anodhiṁ karitvā aniccasaƱƱaṁ upaį¹­į¹­hāpetuṁ. What six? Katame cha? ā€˜All conditions will appear to me as transient.’ ā€˜My mind will not delight anywhere in the world.’ ā€˜My mind will rise above the whole world.’ ā€˜My heart will incline to extinguishment.’ ā€˜My fetters will be given up.’ ā€˜I will achieve the ultimate goal of the ascetic life.’ ā€˜Sabbasaį¹…khārā ca me anavatthitā khāyissanti, sabbaloke ca me mano nābhiramissati, sabbalokā ca me mano vuį¹­į¹­hahissati, nibbānapoṇaƱca me mānasaṁ bhavissati, saṁyojanā ca me pahānaṁ gacchissanti, paramena ca sāmaƱƱena samannāgato bhavissāmī’ti. Seeing these six benefits is quite enough to establish the perception of impermanence in all conditions without qualification.ā€ Ime kho, bhikkhave, cha ānisaṁse sampassamānena alameva bhikkhunā sabbasaį¹…khāresu anodhiṁ karitvā aniccasaƱƱaṁ upaį¹­į¹­hāpetunā€ti.
