A Noble One Ariyasutta

ā€œMendicants, when these four bases of psychic power are developed and cultivated they are noble and emancipating, and bring one who practices them to the complete ending of suffering. ā€œCattārome, bhikkhave, iddhipādā bhāvitā bahulÄ«katā ariyā niyyānikā niyyanti takkarassa sammā dukkhakkhayāya. What four? Katame cattāro? It’s when a mendicant develops the basis of psychic power that has immersion due to enthusiasm … Idha, bhikkhave, bhikkhu chandasamādhippadhānasaį¹…khārasamannāgataṁ iddhipādaṁ bhāveti, energy … vÄ«riyasamādhi …pe… mental development … cittasamādhi …pe… inquiry, and active effort. vÄ«maṁsāsamādhippadhānasaį¹…khārasamannāgataṁ iddhipādaṁ bhāveti. When these four bases of psychic power are developed and cultivated they are noble and emancipating, and bring one who practices them to the complete ending of suffering.ā€ Ime kho, bhikkhave, cattāro iddhipādā bhāvitā bahulÄ«katā ariyā niyyānikā niyyanti takkarassa sammā dukkhakkhayāyÄā€ti.
