The women in the world called unclaimed—“Asā lokitthiyo nāma, there is no confining them. velā tāsaṁ na vijjati; They are rude and full of desires, Sārattā ca pagabbhā ca, like an all-consuming flame. sikhī sabbaghaso yathā; Leaving them behind, I shall go forth Tā hitvā pabbajissāmi, and foster seclusion. vivekamanubrūhayan”ti.
