An adept Asekhasutta

ā€œMendicants, a mendicant with five qualities is worthy of offerings dedicated to the gods, worthy of hospitality, worthy of a religious donation, worthy of veneration with joined palms, and is the supreme field of merit for the world. ā€œPaƱcahi, bhikkhave, dhammehi samannāgato bhikkhu āhuneyyo hoti pāhuneyyo dakkhiṇeyyo …pe… anuttaraṁ puƱƱakkhettaṁ lokassa.

What five? Katamehi, paƱcahi? It’s when they have the entire spectrum of the adept’s ethics, immersion, wisdom, freedom, and knowledge and vision of freedom. Idha, bhikkhave, bhikkhu asekhena sÄ«lakkhandhena samannāgato hoti, asekhena samādhikkhandhena samannāgato hoti, asekhena paƱƱākkhandhena samannāgato hoti, asekhena vimuttikkhandhena samannāgato hoti, asekhena vimuttiñāṇadassanakkhandhena samannāgato hoti. A mendicant with these five qualities … is the supreme field of merit for the world.ā€ Imehi kho, bhikkhave, paƱcahi dhammehi samannāgato bhikkhu āhuneyyo hoti …pe… anuttaraṁ puƱƱakkhettaṁ lokassāā€ti.
