Not Determined by Anything Atammayasutta

ā€œMendicants, seeing six benefits is quite enough to establish the perception of not-self in all things without qualification. ā€œCha, bhikkhave, ānisaṁse sampassamānena alameva bhikkhunā sabbadhammesu anodhiṁ karitvā anattasaƱƱaṁ upaį¹­į¹­hāpetuṁ. What six? Katame cha? ā€˜I will not be determined by anything in the world.’ ā€˜My I-making will stop.’ ā€˜My mine-making will stop.’ ā€˜I will have distinct knowledge.’ ā€˜I will clearly see causes and the phenomena that arise from causes.’ Sabbaloke ca atammayo bhavissāmi, ahaį¹…kārā ca me uparujjhissanti, mamaį¹…kārā ca me uparujjhissanti, asādhāraṇena ca ñāṇena samannāgato bhavissāmi, hetu ca me sudiį¹­į¹­ho bhavissati, hetusamuppannā ca dhammā. Seeing these six benefits is quite enough to establish the perception of not-self in all things without qualification.ā€ Ime kho, bhikkhave, cha ānisaṁse sampassamānena alameva bhikkhunā sabbadhammesu anodhiṁ karitvā anattasaƱƱaṁ upaį¹­į¹­hāpetunā€ti.
