ā⦠the sentient beings who refrain from mutilation, murder, abduction, banditry, plunder, and violence are few, while those who donāt refrain are many. ⦠āEvameva kho, bhikkhave, appakÄ te sattÄ ye chedanavadhabandhanaviparÄmosaÄlopasahasÄkÄrÄ paį¹iviratÄ; atha kho eteva bahutarÄ sattÄ ye chedanavadhabandhanaviparÄmosaÄlopasahasÄkÄrÄ appaį¹iviratÄ. Why is that? Taį¹ kissa hetu? Itās because they havenāt seen the four noble truths. Adiį¹į¹hattÄ bhikkhave, catunnaį¹ ariyasaccÄnaį¹. What four? Katamesaį¹ catunnaį¹? The noble truths of suffering, its origin, its cessation, and the path. Dukkhassa ariyasaccassa ā¦pe⦠dukkhanirodhagÄminiyÄ paį¹ipadÄya ariyasaccassa.
