Dhaniya Dhaniyattheragāthā

If you wish to live in happiness, “Sukhañce jīvituṁ icche, longing for the ascetic life, sāmaññasmiṁ apekkhavā; don’t look down on the Saṅgha’s robes, Saṅghikaṁ nātimaññeyya, or its food and drinks. cīvaraṁ pānabhojanaṁ.

If you wish to live in happiness, Sukhañce jīvituṁ icche, longing for the ascetic life, sāmaññasmiṁ apekkhavā; stay in the Saṅgha’s lodgings Ahi mūsikasobbhaṁva, like a snake making use of a mouse’s hole. sevetha sayanāsanaṁ.

If you wish to live in happiness, Sukhañce jīvituṁ icche, longing for the ascetic life, sāmaññasmiṁ apekkhavā; develop this one quality: Itarītarena tusseyya, be content with whatever is offered. ekadhammañca bhāvaye”ti.
