Prejudice (2nd) Dutiyaagatisutta

ā€œMendicants, there are these four ways of making unprejudiced decisions. ā€œCattārimāni, bhikkhave, nāgatigamanāni. What four? Katamāni cattāri? Making decisions unprejudiced by favoritism, hostility, stupidity, and cowardice. Na chandāgatiṁ gacchati, na dosāgatiṁ gacchati, na mohāgatiṁ gacchati, na bhayāgatiṁ gacchati—These are the four ways of making unprejudiced decisions. Imāni kho, bhikkhave, cattāri nāgatigamanānÄ«ti.

If you don’t act against the teaching Chandā dosā bhayā mohā, out of favoritism, hostility, cowardice, and stupidity, yo dhammaṁ nātivattati; your fame swells, ĀpÅ«rati tassa yaso, like the moon in the waxing fortnight.ā€ sukkapakkheva candimāā€ti.

Aṭṭhamaṁ.
