Fears and Enmities (2nd) Dutiyabhayaverūpasantasutta

At SāvatthÄ«. … Sāvatthinidānaṁ …pe… ā€œMendicants, when a noble disciple has quelled five fears and enmities, possesses the four factors of stream-entry, and has clearly seen and penetrated the noble system with wisdom, they may, if they wish, declare of themselves: ā€œyato kho, bhikkhave, ariyasāvakassa imāni paƱca bhayāni verāni vÅ«pasantāni honti, imehi catÅ«hi sotāpattiyaį¹…gehi samannāgato hoti, ayaƱcassa ariyo Ʊāyo paƱƱāya sudiį¹­į¹­ho hoti suppaį¹­ividdho; so ākaį¹…khamāno attanāva attānaṁ byākareyya: ā€˜I’ve finished with rebirth in hell, the animal realm, and the ghost realm. I’ve finished with all places of loss, bad places, the underworld. I am a stream-enterer! I’m not liable to be reborn in the underworld, and am bound for awakening.ā€™ā€ ā€˜khīṇanirayomhi khīṇatiracchānayoni khīṇapettivisayo khīṇāpāyaduggativinipāto; sotāpannohamasmi avinipātadhammo niyato sambodhiparāyaṇoā€™ā€ti.
