This is called the spiritual path. Idaṁ vuccati, bhikkhave, brahmacariyaṁ.

And what is the goal of the spiritual path? Katamo ca, bhikkhave, brahmacariyattho? The ending of greed, hate, and delusion. Yo kho, bhikkhave, rāgakkhayo dosakkhayo mohakkhayo—This is called the goal of the spiritual path.” ayaṁ vuccati, bhikkhave, brahmacariyattho”ti.
