Purified (2nd) Dutiyaparisuddhasutta

At Sāvatthī. Sāvatthinidānaṁ.

ā€œMendicants, these eight things don’t arise to be purified, bright, flawless, and rid of corruptions apart from the Holy One’s training. ā€œAį¹į¹hime, bhikkhave, dhammā parisuddhā pariyodātā anaį¹…gaṇā vigatÅ«pakkilesā anuppannā uppajjanti, nāƱƱatra sugatavinayā. What eight? Katame aį¹į¹ha? They are: right view, right thought, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, and right immersion. Seyyathidaṁ—sammādiį¹į¹hi …pe… sammāsamādhi. These eight things don’t arise to be purified, bright, flawless, and rid of corruptions apart from the Holy One’s training.ā€ Ime kho, bhikkhave, aį¹į¹ha dhammā parisuddhā pariyodātā anaį¹…gaṇā vigatÅ«pakkilesā anuppannā uppajjanti, nāƱƱatra sugatavinayāā€ti.
