Hārita (2nd) Hāritattheragāthā

Whoever wishes to do afterwards “Yo pubbe karaṇīyāni, tasks they should have done before pacchā so kātumicchati; has lost the causes for happiness, Sukhā so dhaṁsate ṭhānā, and afterwards they’re tormented by regrets. pacchā ca manutappati.

You should only say what you would do; Yañhi kayirā tañhi vade, you shouldn’t say what you wouldn’t do. yaṁ na kayirā na taṁ vade; The wise will recognize Akarontaṁ bhāsamānaṁ, one who talks without doing. parijānanti paṇḍitā.

Oh! Extinguishment is so very blissful, Susukhaṁ vata nibbānaṁ, as taught by the fully awakened Buddha: sammāsambuddhadesitaṁ; sorrowless, stainless, secure, Asokaṁ virajaṁ khemaṁ, where suffering all ceases. yattha dukkhaṁ nirujjhatī”ti.
