Heraññakāni Heraññakānittheragāthā

The days and nights rush by, “Accayanti ahorattā, and then life is cut short. jīvitaṁ uparujjhati; The life of mortals wastes away, Āyu khīyati maccānaṁ, like the water in tiny streams. kunnadīnaṁva odakaṁ.

But while doing bad deeds Atha pāpāni kammāni, the fool doesn’t realize—karaṁ bālo na bujjhati; it’ll be bitter later on; Pacchāssa kaṭukaṁ hoti, for the result will be bad for them. vipāko hissa pāpako”ti.
