Jotidāsa Jotidāsattheragāthā

People who act harshly—“Ye kho te veṭhamissena, attacking people, nānattena ca kammunā; binding them with rope, Manusse uparundhanti, hurting them in all kinds of ways—pharusūpakkamā janā; they’re treated in the same way; Tepi tattheva kīranti, their deeds don’t vanish. na hi kammaṁ panassati.

Whatever deeds a person does, Yaṁ karoti naro kammaṁ, whether good or bad, Kalyāṇaṁ yadi pāpakaṁ; they are the heir to each Tassa tasseva dāyādo, and every deed they do. Yaṁ yaṁ kammaṁ pakubbatī”ti.
