See this wisdom of the Realized Ones! “Paññaṁ imaṁ passa tathāgatānaṁ, Like a fire blazing in the night, Aggi yathā pajjalito nisīthe; giving light, giving vision, Ālokadā cakkhudadā bhavanti, they dispel the doubt of those who’ve come. Ye āgatānaṁ vinayanti kaṅkhan”ti.

That is how this verse was recited by the senior venerable Revata the Doubter. Itthaṁ sudaṁ āyasmā kaṅkhārevato thero gāthaṁ abhāsitthāti.
