The Fish: a past life story 4. Macchajātaka
It’s not the cold or heat for me, “Na maṁ sītaṁ na maṁ uṇhaṁ, nor the being caught in the net; na maṁ jālasmi bādhanaṁ; it’s that my lady, the fish, thinks of me, Yañca maṁ maññate macchī, “He went for joy to another.” aññaṁ so ratiyā gato”ti.
