Mahācunda Mahācundattheragāthā

It’s from eagerness to learn that learning grows; “Sussūsā sutavaddhanī, when you’re learned, wisdom grows; sutaṁ paññāya vaddhanaṁ; by wisdom, you know the goal; Paññāya atthaṁ jānāti, knowing the goal brings happiness. ñāto attho sukhāvaho.

You should frequent remote lodgings Sevetha pantāni senāsanāni, and practice to be released from fetters. Careyya saṁyojanavippamokkhaṁ; If you don’t find enjoyment there, Sace ratiṁ nādhigaccheyya tattha, live in the Saṅgha, self-protected and mindful. Saṅghe vase rakkhitatto satimā”ti.
