The Wrong Way Micchattasutta

āMendicants, I will teach you the wrong way and the right way. āMicchattaƱca vo, bhikkhave, desessÄmi, sammattaƱca. Listen ⦠Taį¹ suį¹Ätha.
And what is the wrong way? KatamaƱca, bhikkhave, micchattaį¹? It is wrong view, wrong thought, wrong speech, wrong action, wrong livelihood, wrong effort, wrong mindfulness, and wrong immersion. Seyyathidaį¹āmicchÄdiį¹į¹hi ā¦pe⦠micchÄsamÄdhi. This is called the wrong way. Idaį¹ vuccati, bhikkhave, micchattaį¹.
And what is the right way? KatamaƱca, bhikkhave, sammattaį¹? It is right view, right thought, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, and right immersion. Seyyathidaį¹āsammÄdiį¹į¹hi ā¦pe⦠sammÄsamÄdhi. This is called the right way.ā Idaį¹ vuccati, bhikkhave, sammattanāti.
