And what is the wrong way? Katamañca, bhikkhave, micchattaṁ? It is wrong view, wrong thought, wrong speech, wrong action, wrong livelihood, wrong effort, wrong mindfulness, and wrong immersion. Seyyathidaṁ—micchādiṭṭhi …pe… micchāsamādhi. This is called the wrong way. Idaṁ vuccati, bhikkhave, micchattaṁ.

And what is the right way? Katamañca, bhikkhave, sammattaṁ? It is right view, right thought, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, and right immersion. Seyyathidaṁ—sammādiṭṭhi …pe… sammāsamādhi. This is called the right way.” Idaṁ vuccati, bhikkhave, sammattan”ti.
