Penetrating Wisdom Nibbedhikapaññāsutta

“Mendicants, when four things are developed and cultivated they lead to penetrating wisdom. “… Nibbedhikapaññatāya saṁvattanti. What four? Katame cattāro? Associating with true persons, listening to the true teaching, rational application of mind, and practicing in line with the teaching. Sappurisasaṁsevo, saddhammassavanaṁ, yonisomanasikāro, dhammānudhammappaṭipatti—When these four things are developed and cultivated they lead to penetrating wisdom.” ime kho, bhikkhave, cattāro dhammā bhāvitā bahulīkatā nibbedhikapaññatāya saṁvattantī”ti.

Mahāpaññavaggo sattamo.

Tassuddānaṁ

Mahā puthu vipula gambhīraṁ, Appamatta bhūri bāhullaṁ; Sīgha lahu hāsa javana, Tikkha nibbedhikāya cāti.
