Prejudice (1st) Paṭhamaagatisutta

“Mendicants, there are these four ways of making prejudiced decisions. “Cattārimāni, bhikkhave, agatigamanāni. What four? Katamāni cattāri? Making decisions prejudiced by favoritism, hostility, stupidity, and cowardice. Chandāgatiṁ gacchati, dosāgatiṁ gacchati, mohāgatiṁ gacchati, bhayāgatiṁ gacchati—These are the four ways of making prejudiced decisions. Imāni kho, bhikkhave, cattāri agatigamanānīti.

If you act against the teaching Chandā dosā bhayā mohā, out of favoritism, hostility, cowardice, or stupidity, yo dhammaṁ ativattati; your fame fades away, Nihīyati tassa yaso, like the moon in the waning fortnight.” kāḷapakkheva candimā”ti.
