Puṇṇamāsa (1st) Puṇṇamāsattheragāthā
A knowledge master, peaceful and self-controlled, “Vihari apekkhaṁ idha vā huraṁ vā, is rid of concern for this world and the world beyond. Yo vedagū samito yatatto; Unsullied in the midst of all things, Sabbesu dhammesu anūpalitto, they’d know the arising and passing of the world. Lokassa jaññā udayabbayañcā”ti.
That is how this verse was recited by the senior venerable Puṇṇamāsa. Itthaṁ sudaṁ āyasmā puṇṇamāso thero gāthaṁ abhāsitthāti.
vaggo paṭhamo.
