Intention Rūpasañcetanāsutta

At Sāvatthī. Sāvatthinidānaṁ.

“Mendicants, intention regarding sights is impermanent, decaying, and perishing. “Rūpasañcetanā, bhikkhave, aniccā vipariṇāmī aññathābhāvī; Intention regarding sounds, saddasañcetanā … intention regarding smells, gandhasañcetanā … intention regarding tastes, rasasañcetanā … intention regarding touches, phoṭṭhabbasañcetanā … and intentions regarding ideas are impermanent, decaying, and perishing. dhammasañcetanā aniccā vipariṇāmī aññathābhāvī.

Someone who has faith and confidence in these teachings is called a follower by faith. …” Yo, bhikkhave, ime dhamme evaṁ saddahati adhimuccati, ayaṁ vuccati ‘saddhānusārī …pe… sambodhiparāyano’”ti.
