Complete Understanding of All Sabbapariññāsutta
This was said by the Buddha, the Perfected One: that is what I heard. Vuttañhetaṁ bhagavatā vuttamarahatāti me sutaṁ:
“Mendicants, without directly knowing and completely understanding the all, without dispassion for it and giving it up, you can’t end suffering. “Sabbaṁ, bhikkhave, anabhijānaṁ aparijānaṁ tattha cittaṁ avirājayaṁ appajahaṁ abhabbo dukkhakkhayāya. By directly knowing and completely understanding the all, having dispassion for it and giving it up, you can end suffering.” Sabbañca kho, bhikkhave, abhijānaṁ parijānaṁ tattha cittaṁ virājayaṁ pajahaṁ bhabbo dukkhakkhayāyā”ti.
That is what the Buddha said. Etamatthaṁ bhagavā avoca. On this it is said: Tatthetaṁ iti vuccati:
“Those who know the all as all, “Yo sabbaṁ sabbato ñatvā, are not attracted to anything. sabbatthesu na rajjati; They completely understand all, Sa ve sabbapariññā so, and have risen above all suffering.” sabbadukkhamupaccagā”ti.
This too is a matter that was spoken by the Blessed One: that is what I heard. Ayampi attho vutto bhagavatā, iti me sutanti.
Sattamaṁ.
