Sivaka Sivakattheragāthā

Houses are impermanent—“Aniccāni gahakāni, on and on, life after life. tattha tattha punappunaṁ; I’ve been searching for the house-builder—Gahakāraṁ gavesanto, painful is birth again and again. dukkhā jāti punappunaṁ.

I’ve seen you, house-builder! Gahakāraka diṭṭhosi, You won’t build a house again. puna gehaṁ na kāhasi; Your rafters are all broken, Sabbā te phāsukā bhaggā, your ridgepole is shattered. thūṇikā ca vidālitā; My mind is without boundaries: Vimariyādikataṁ cittaṁ, in this very life it will dissipate. idheva vidhamissatī”ti.
