The Fruit of Stream-Entry Sotāpattiphalasutta

ā€œMendicants, when four things are developed and cultivated they lead to the realization of the fruit of stream-entry. ā€œCattārome, bhikkhave, dhammā bhāvitā bahulÄ«katā sotāpattiphalasacchikiriyāya saṁvattanti. What four? Katame cattāro? Associating with true persons, listening to the true teaching, rational application of mind, and practicing in line with the teaching. Sappurisasaṁsevo, saddhammassavanaṁ, yonisomanasikāro, dhammānudhammappaį¹­ipatti—When these four things are developed and cultivated they lead to the realization of the fruit of stream-entry.ā€ ime kho, bhikkhave, cattāro dhammā bhāvitā bahulÄ«katā sotāpattiphalasacchikiriyāya saṁvattantÄ«ā€ti.
