Pleasure Sukhasutta
āMendicants, there are these three feelings. āTisso imÄ, bhikkhave, vedanÄ. What three? KatamÄ tisso?
Pleasant, painful, and neutral feeling. SukhÄ vedanÄ, dukkhÄ vedanÄ, adukkhamasukhÄ vedanÄāThese are the three feelings. imÄ kho, bhikkhave, tisso vedanÄti.
Whatever is felt Sukhaį¹ vÄ yadi vÄ dukkhaį¹, internally and externallyāadukkhamasukhaį¹ saha; whether pleasure or pain AjjhattaƱca bahiddhÄ ca, as well as whatās neutralāyaį¹ kiƱci atthi veditaį¹.
having known this as suffering, Etaį¹ dukkhanti ƱatvÄna, deceptive, breaking apart, mosadhammaį¹ palokinaį¹; one sees them vanish <j>as theyāre experienced again and again: Phussa phussa vayaį¹ passaį¹, thatās how to be free of desire for them.ā evaį¹ tattha virajjatÄ«āti.
