Tekicchakāri Tekicchakārittheragāthā

“The rice has been harvested “Atihitā vīhi, and gathered on the threshing-floor—khalagatā sālī; but I don’t get any almsfood! Na ca labhe piṇḍaṁ, How will I get by?” kathamahaṁ kassaṁ”.

“In faith, recollect the immeasurable Buddha! “Buddhamappameyyaṁ anussara pasanno, Your body soaked with rapture, <j>you’ll always be full of joy. Pītiyā phuṭasarīro hohisi satatamudaggo.

In faith, recollect the immeasurable teaching! Dhammamappameyyaṁ anussara pasanno, Your body soaked with rapture, <j>you’ll always be full of joy. Pītiyā phuṭasarīro hohisi satatamudaggo.

In faith, recollect the immeasurable Saṅgha! Saṅghamappameyyaṁ anussara pasanno, Your body soaked with rapture, <j>you’ll always be full of joy.” Pītiyā phuṭasarīro hohisi satatamudaggo”.

“You stay in the open, “Abbhokāse viharasi, though these winter nights are cold. Sītā hemantikā imā ratyo; Don’t perish, overcome with cold; Mā sītena pareto vihaññittho, enter your dwelling, with door shut fast.” Pavisa tvaṁ vihāraṁ phusitaggaḷaṁ”.

“I’ll realize the four immeasurable states, “Phusissaṁ catasso appamaññāyo, and meditate happily in them. Tāhi ca sukhito viharissaṁ; I won’t perish, overcome with cold; Nāhaṁ sītena vihaññissaṁ, I’ll dwell unperturbed.” Aniñjito viharanto”ti.
