Grasping Aggregates Upādānakkhandhasutta

“Mendicants, there are these five grasping aggregates. “Pañcime, bhikkhave, upādānakkhandhā. What five? Katame pañca? The grasping aggregates of form, feeling, perception, choices, and consciousness. Rūpupādānakkhandho, vedanupādānakkhandho, saññupādānakkhandho, saṅkhārupādānakkhandho, viññāṇupādānakkhandho—These are the five grasping aggregates. ime kho, bhikkhave, pañcupādānakkhandhā.

To give up these five grasping aggregates you should develop the four kinds of mindfulness meditation. …” Imesaṁ kho, bhikkhave, pañcannaṁ upādānakkhandhānaṁ pahānāya …pe… ime cattāro satipaṭṭhānā bhāvetabbā”ti.
