“Mendicants, there are three kinds of growth. “Tisso imā, bhikkhave, vuddhiyo. What three? Katamā tisso? Growth in faith, ethics, and wisdom. Saddhāvuddhi, sīlavuddhi, paññāvuddhi—These are the three kinds of growth.” imā kho, bhikkhave, tisso vuddhiyo”ti.
